Jordan Funeral Home has been serving Kosciusko area families for years. We are honored to be a part of the rich history of this community and plan to be a part of it for many years to come.

Founded by L. W. Jordan, Sr. in 1904, Jordan Funeral Home is in it's fourth generation of continuous service to Central Mississippi.

L. W. Jordan, Sr. was born January, 31, 1874 in Attala County, MS. He was married to Elizabeth Katherine Roby, and they reared nine children together.

L. W. Jordan, Sr. passed on April 24, 1958 leaving the ownership and management to his son, Henry Hunter Jordan, Sr.

H. Hunter Jordan, Sr. and his wife, Lillian Clark Therrell reared three children together. Lillian Jordan was the office manager and pianist for the funeral home.

They managed the business at the previous location which was located several blocks north of our downtown square. The present location was built and dedicated on January 5, 1969.

H. Hunter Jordan, Sr. retired from ownership in January of 1987 leaving the ownership and management to his son, Henry Hunter Jordan, Jr.
