William Benny Pruitt, 75, of Grenada passed away Thursday, April 23, 2026, at University of Mississippi Health Care in Grenada.
William was born on September 18, 1950, to Jimmy Harold Pruitt and Mary Etta Nail Pruitt in Mississippi. He retired from Memphis Hardwood in Grenada.
William is survived by his brother, Jimmy (Diane) Pruitt of Kosciusko, Mississippi and sister, Rachel Tew of Mobile, Alabama; and he was devoted to his many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy Pruitt and Mary Etta Pruitt, sisters, Linda Cain and Betty Tummy, and brother, Donnie Pruitt.
