Tracie Marie Griffin was born on October 13, 1973, in Cleveland, Mississippi to Travis and Betty Tiller. She stepped from this life into Heaven on August 13, 2023, at the age of 49 at her home in West, Mississippi.
She attended Drew High School where she graduated in May 1992. She also attended Mississippi Delta Community College after High School. She spent most of her adult life working in retail and sales. She was the manager of retail stores and trained others to be successful. She could take a store that was not performing well and turn it around to be prosperous. She was also a medical billing specialist. She was a hard worker with an exceptional work ethic. She even continued to work while taking chemo. The word quit was not in her vocabulary. She only stopped working when her physical body could no longer keep up due to illness.
Tracie was the life of the party. She always had a smile on her face. She never met a stranger and always made everyone feel at home around her. She was a beacon of light to all who knew her. She is known for her unwavering love, her boundless compassion, and indomitable spirit. She is also remembered as a protector of those she loved and cared about. She was a great ally and friend to many. She radiated confidence and charm. She loved her two boys very much and was very proud of them.
Tracie was preceded in death by her grandparents Clarence and Lulabell Hampton and Sonny and Elizabeth Tiller.
Tracie is survived by her parents Travis and Betty Tiller; her sister Becky Ray; her brother Richard Tiller and wife Lori; her brother Steven Tiller and wife Kelly; her son Jordan Griffin; her son Karstan Griffin; and many nieces and nephews.
