Shirley Mozelle Nason Green age 85, of Kosciusko, was called to her heavenly home Monday morning, May 30, 2022, following a long battle with chronic kidney disease and congestive heart failure. She was with her loving husband, daughter, and son-in-law under Hospice care when she passed. Shirley Mozelle, born to James Homer Nason and Ada Allen Nason on January 19, 1937, in Montgomery County, Mississippi, was the youngest of 5 children. She attended school in Montgomery and Attala counties, Mississippi, and Tipton County in Tennessee. Before finishing high school Shirley married the love of her life and high school sweetheart William Green on December 10, 1956. When he enlisted in the U.S. Airforce in February 1957, she stayed home to finish school, graduating from Kosciusko High School in 1958. Shirley and William moved to Memphis, TN in the early 60’s with their daughter Evelyn. Not long afterward their daughter Beth was born. Shirley worked very hard in the production industries as well as being a wife and mother. She loved her extended family as her own and often went out of her way to help during times of need. Many of her nieces and nephews regarded her as a grandmother. Shirley is survived by her husband, William Paul Green; daughter, Evelyn Green Reppond (Norman), grandchildren, Nicholas Daniel Reppond (Angie), Kristi Marie Reppond Abbott (Jeff), and William Boyd Reppond (Carrie); great grandchildren, Eric Alan Abbott, Elizabeth Marie Abbott, and Haley Ann Abbott. Shirley also leaves behind 5 nephews, 24 great nieces and great nephews, 35 great-great nieces and great-great nephews and 1 great-great-great niece. Shirley was preceded in death by her mother and father Ada Allen Nason and J. Homer Nason, her brother, James Nason, sister Inez Nason, sister Edna Nason Deason Lawrence and Lattis Nason Croft, and her nieces Gloria Inez Deason Perry, and Patty Lynn Croft, nephews Donald Perry, Harvey Lawrence, S.R. and Timothy Lawrence, and her beloved daughter Elizabeth Mozelle Green
