Sheryl Sims

Sheryl Kay Sims, 81, of Kosciusko, Mississippi, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2026. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Jordan Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Doty Springs Cemetery. Randy Rhodes will officiate the services.

Sheryl was born on October 17, 1944, to Bruce Eades and Ruby Carter Eades in Mississippi. She retired as a legal secretary and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Sheryl loved her dog, Precious.

Sheryl is survived by her son, Chris (Carrie) Sims; grandchildren, Jonathan, David, Elizabeth, and Steven; and great-granddaughter Caroline and one on the way.

She was preceded in death by parents, Bruce Eades and Ruby Carter Eades and her husband, David Sims.

Serving as pallbearers are Stacy Sims, Barry Spears, Doug Hancock, and Daniel Norwood.
