Sarah Allene Dorsey

Sarah Allene Dorsey, 86, of McCool, MS, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2026, at the Choctaw Regional Nursing Center. Visitation will be from 12:00-1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Hopewell Baptist Church. The funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Hopewell Baptist Church with burial in Hopewell Cemetery.

Rev. Phillip Jordan and Rev. Roger Griffith will officiate the services.

Mrs. Dorsey was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church, the Master Gardener Club, and the Dixie-Pan Homemaker Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Dorsey; son, Michael Dorsey; parents, Ruben Henry Morgan and Myrtle Black Morgan; and brothers, Grover Morgan and Johnny Morgan.

She is survived by her daughters, Debra (Chris) Stevenson of McCool, MS, and Donna (Tommy) Serio of Kiln, MS; granddaughter, Sarah (Jonathan Massey) Stevenson of Ethel, MS; and sisters, Patty Hatten of McCool, MS, and Martha Ryals of Zama, MS. Others include Kayla Kerr and nieces and nephews.

Those serving as pallbearers will be Chris Stevenson, Tommy Serio, Leon Stevenson, Danny Ryals, Mark Bunn, Ronald Bunn, Brent Morgan and Jonathan Massey.
