Peggy was born on July 27, 1949, to Emzie Shields and Kearney Boyd Shields in Kosciusko, Mississippi. She graduated from Ethel High School and was a hospital pharmacy technician for many years. Peggy absolutely loved attending all her children and then her grandchildren’s ballgames, better not sit too close or you might have to endure the wrath of her yelling because she was going to whole-heartedly root for each & everyone of them. In her spry years she enjoyed the warm weather & summer and you could usually find her on the water somewhere tanning & enjoying her Jet Ski, even though she could not swim a lick, she said she was good as long as she had that life vest on. Peggy also enjoyed feeding “her” birds and birdwatching out her dining room window. She loved riding the Rhino at their cabin down to the pond and feeding the fish or watching the grandchildren fish. She definitely loved & lived for her family and friends, that is where she found her happiness & peace.

Peggy is survived by her loving and adoring husband of almost 36 years, Jackie Ramage of Kosciusko, Mississippi; sons & daughters-in-love, Jeffery & Tammy McCrory of West, Mississippi, Allen Ramage of Kosciusko, Mississippi, and Craig & Corrie Ramage of Madison, Mississippi; grandchildren, Bree Burnley, Bret Burnley, Joy McCrory, Jacob McCrory, Ty Ramage, Raines Ramage, Miles Ramage, and Rian Ramage; great-granddaughter, Eliana McCrory and several beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Frances Shields, and sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Robert Hudgins.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jacob McCrory, Ty Ramage, Miles Ramage, Bret Burnley, Charles Odom, Bobo Ramage and Les Ramage. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Buddy Ramage and Mack Ramage.
