Marvin Ray Paseur, 79, of Kosciusko, MS, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at the University Nursing Center – Durant. Visitation is 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Jordan Funeral Home. The funeral services are 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Jordan Funeral Home with burial in Parkway Cemetery. Les Ferguson will officiate the services.
Mr. Paseur was a preacher for over fifty years and was a retired professor from the Magnolia Bible College in Kosciusko, MS where he served for twenty-four years. He was a dedicated Christian and had a passion for spreading the Gospel in mission work while traveling all over the world.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Marvin Paseur and Sarah Jean Barksdale, daughters, Diane Jean Paseur, Stephanie Renee Paseur, and Andrea Michelle Paseur, and brother, James Glen Paseur.
Marvin is survived by his wife of 61 years, Sharon Paseur of Kosciusko, Mississippi.
Serving as pallbearers are Will Anderson, Ronnie Ison, Tom Jeter, Andy Dulaney, Larry Black, and Therman Hodge. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Mike Wofford, Jim Dendy, Prince Lewis, and Calvin Ward.
