Marcus “Mark” Jennings, III, 80, of Rockledge, Florida, passed away on April 1, 2026, at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Florida.

Mr. Jennings was a retired contract administrator in the aerospace industry at Cape Kennedy. He was a football athlete and a 1964 graduate of Kosciusko High School. He attended Holmes Community College and Ole Miss before serving in the United States Army during Vietnam from January 1966 until October 1967. After returning from Vietnam, he was associated with the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity while attending Ole Miss, where he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in 1972. Following that, he lived in numerous states, including California, Hawaii, Washington, and Mississippi, before moving to Florida.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marcus Claude Jennings, Jr., and Hazel Yates Jennings, née Love, and then later his mother by marriage, Ruth Dunn Jennings, all of Kosciusko, MS.

He is survived by three sisters, Mary Lynn Dunn Rigney and husband George Rigney, Hazel Jennings Harrod and husband Frank Harrod, and Sylvia Jennings Gilbert; an aunt, Shirley Jennings Skipper; one niece; and four nephews.

The family will welcome friends for visitation from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at Jordan Funeral Home, with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 p.m. There will be a private burial at the Kosciusko City Cemetery.
