Laura R. Mangrum

Mrs. Mangrum was born Dec. 28, 1934 in Attala County. She was a nurse, and a member of Doty Springs Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, Rickey Mangrum of Flowood; daughters, Vickie Box (Stanley) of Ethel, Patsy Mangrum of Memphis, TN, and Karen Mangrum of Ethel; grandchildren, Joel Mangrum, Laura Sanders, Ben Mangrum, and Heather Box; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Dewitt Burchfield, Leonard Burchfield, and Charles Burchfield; and sisters, Ruth Pitt and Loyce Ivey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Mangrum; parents, Lynn and Lillie Mae Burchfield; a sister, Lena White; and brothers, Luther and Albert Lee Burchfield. Pallbearers are Ben Mangrum, Joel Mangrum, Bob Higgins, Randy Journey, Daniel Sanders, and Charles Walton. Memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
