Joseph Wayne Moffett, 44, passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the University Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday, June 8 at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, June 9 at North Union Baptist Church. Rev. Tony Fortenberry and Rev. Gene Richardson will officiate. He was a member of Doty Springs Baptist Church. Survivors include daughters, Brittany Nicole Moffett and her finance`, Hayden Bain of Ethel and Courtney Moffett of Kosciusko; son, Chris Moffett of Kosciusko; mother, Kathy Moffett of Brandon, MS; brother, George R. Moffett, Jr. of Jackson and Joseph Allen Moffett of Kosciusko; sisters, Amy Moffett Thornton of Vaiden and Becky Moffett Swindle of Greenwood; special friend, Charlotte Rodgers of Kosciusko; children that he claimed as his own; Dylan Kyzer, Corey Johnson, and Haliy Johnson, all of Kosciusko; step-children, Erika and Nathan Vandusen, both of Kosciusko; and a host of cousins.
