Jerome Woodson, 87, of French Camp, Mississippi, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2025, at Mississippi Veterans Home in Kosciusko. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at Bethsaida Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m., at Bethsaida Baptist Church, with burial to follow at Bethsaida Cemetery. Rev. Alex Lawson will officiate the services.
Jerome was born on January 14, 1938, in Mississippi to Pat Woodson and Adlyne O’Neal Woodson. He owned and operated a trucking line.
Jerome is survived by a son, Kenneth (Donna) Woodson of French Camp, Mississippi; a daughter, Melissa Woodson (Michael) Sheffield of Hurley, Mississippi; a daughter-in-law, Ann Maria Woodson; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and a half-brother, Frank Scribner of Greenville, South Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl Mills Woodson; sons Bradley Woodson and Brock Woodson; and granddaughter Jordan Sheffield.
