James Earl "Bo" Owens, Sr.

James Earl “Bo” Owens, Sr., 84, of Kosciusko, MS, passed away on November 26, 2022, his residence.  Graveside services are 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 28, 2022, at Parkway Cemetery. Rev. Gary Glazier and Lisa Kaplan will officiate the service.

Jordan Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Mr. Owens was a retired truck driver for several trucking companies for 30 years. He was a member of Williamsville Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie Young Owens and Alada Harris Owens, and a granddaughter, Anna Owens.

He is survived by his wife, Harriett Sorrells Owens; son, James Earl “Bo” (Delia) Owens, Jr., of Madison, MS; daughters, Carrie (Jeff) Sims of Kosciusko, MS, and Stephanie (Hamer) Morgan of Clinton, MS; grandchildren, Madison (Justin) Hurdle, Austin (Katherine) Sims, Alexandria Owens, Benjamin Owens, Sidney Owens, Kate Morgan, and Quin Morgan; great-grandchildren, Maely and Maddie Hurdle.

Pallbearers include: Jeff Sims, Hamer Morgan, Austin Sims, Bo Owens, Ben Owens, Justin Hurdle.
