Ida Vivian Phillips, 83, of Hollandale, Mississippi, passed away on January 15, 2026, at her residence. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Southside Baptist Church, 137 West Reed Road, Greenville, Mississippi 38701. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m., at Southside Baptist Church. Rev. Frank Terry and Rev. Jon Reed McClendon will officiate the services.

Vivian was born to her mother, Eunice Mack in Arkansas. She was a member of Edinburg Baptist Church in Edinburg community for 10+ years while living there, then later when she moved to Hollandale, where she attended Southside Baptist Church in Greenville, Mississippi.

Vivian is survived by her daughters, Vicky (Frankie) Terry of Greenville, Mississippi, Martha Joyce McGivney of Carthage, Mississippi, and Mary (Barry) Terry of Hollandale, Mississippi; grandchildren, Tracy (Chad) Farrell, Judy (Michael) Muirhead, Kevin (Whitney) Terry, BJ (April) Terry, Crystal (Gordon) Blakely, Leonard Beard, Jodie Jolly, Wiley Beard, Brittany Farrell, and Justin Farrell; Great-grandchildren, Kaitlin, Kalie, Christian, John, Wyatt, Peyton, Joe, Calub, Hunter, Frankie, Gavin, Joliegh, Chase, Cate, Geneva, Dillion, Ariana, and Michael; and great-great-grandchildren, Carter, Sadie Jo, and Mathew.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Eunice Mack, husbands, Louis Phillips, Sr. and Cecil Hillman, son, Louis Phillips, Jr., granddaughter, Amanda Lynn Booth, grandson, Kenneth Louis Beard, brothers, George Rawls, Charlie Cole, and Johnny Mack, sisters, Frances Gooden, Betty O’Neil, and Carolyn Sachez.
