Mrs. Ethel Laverne Threet Brett, 88 of Attala County Mississippi died Friday, January 20, 2017 at Greenwood Leflore County Hospital. She was a factory worker, homemaker and member of Carson Ridge Baptist Church. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Jordan Funeral Home with burial at Parkway Cemetery. Visitation will be10:00 a.m. Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Jordan Funeral Home. Survivors include Sisters: Lavelle Boyette of Kosciusko, MS and Hettie Jean Threet Barnes of Braxton, MS. Four Grandchildren: Waynette Jackson, Wayne Parks, Debra Ellis and Westley Black. Nine Great-Grandchildren: Kenneth Black, Dede Black, Heather Price, Melinda Hammond, Terry Parks, Kevin Parks, Kasey Thomas, Krista Sciple and Brice Cumberland. Nine Great-Great Grandchildren: Courtney Black, Laiden Lance, Jayden Hammond, Zaytlen Parks, Terry Lee Parks, Eli Parks, Nate Parks, Devin Parks and Riley Parks. Preceded in death by Her husband, daughter: Katherine Laverne Black and an infant son: Auzzie Anderson, Jr.
