Erma Sanders Summerhill, 99, of Kosciusko, Mississippi, passed away Monday, August 12, 2024, at Baptist-Attala Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at Parkway Cemetery with Rev. James Young officiating.
Erma was born November 9, 1924, in Kosciusko, Mississippi, to her parents Lee Bryan Sanders and Effie Hearon Sanders. She was a homemaker and a member of McAdams Baptist Church.
Erma is survived by her daughter, Janice (Joe) Cain of Kosciusko, Mississippi; grandson, Joey (Robin) Cain; great-grandchildren, Sam (Erin) Cain and Reid Hutchinson; and great-great-grandchildren, Layla Cain and Colton Cain.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee Bryan Sanders and Effie Hearon Sanders, husband, Samuel (Pete) Summerhill, brother, Mervin Sanders, and sister, Radie Britt.
