Edna C. Nance

Edna G. Nance, 82, of Ethel, Mississippi, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2025, at her residence. A private family service was held at Parkway Cemetery. Rev. Keith Dowden officiated the service.

Edna was born March 3,1943, to James Elmer Crosby and Ruby Mae Rachel Crosby in Kosciusko, Mississippi. She retired from account services at Merchants and Farmers Bank. Edna was a member of Ethel Baptist Church.

Edna is survived by her son, James (Le Ellen) Nance of Ethel, Mississippi; daughter, Jennifer (Scooter) Blount of West, Mississippi; 3 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Frank (Patsy) Crosby of Ethel, Mississippi; and her sister, Eva (Ted) Burns of Ethel, Mississippi.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents, James Elmer Crosby and Ruby Mae Rachel Crosby; her husband, Willie Joe Nance; and her sister, Edith Childs.
