Donald Quinten Weaver went to be with our Lord and Savior on July 25, 2025, at the age of 79. He was born on July 2, 1946, in Amory, MS to Ira Quinten Weaver and Mildren Holloway Weaver. Don graduated from Morton High School in 1964 where he lettered in football, basketball, and track. He attended Mississippi State University where he served in the ROTC and was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. He graduated in 1968 and married his high school sweetheart Martha Tip Stuart in August of that year. They have been married for 56 years. He attended the University of Mississippi in Jackson, MS where he got a Master of Anatomy in 1971 before attending the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry. He graduated with his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry in 1975 where he graduated number one in his class. During Don’s years in dental school they welcomed their daughters Elizabeth and Amanda. After completing dental school, Don, Martha Tip, and girls moved to Fort Knox, KY where he entered the Army as a Captain and served for 2.5 years at Fort Knox as a dentist. In 1977, Don and his family moved to Kosciusko, MS where he began his career as a dentist. In 1991, Don opened his own dental practice, Autumn Ridge Dental. One of the greatest joys of his life was the relationships he made with his patients. Don was a pillar in the Kosciusko community where he served on the Chamber of Commerce, Kosciusko School District school board, Kosciusko Lions Club, and was king of the Junior Auxiliary Charity Ball.

Don was a member of First Baptist Church in Kosciusko for 48 years where he served as a deacon. He served on numerous committees, as well as an active member of the church choir. Don was passionate about music and loved singing in church and in his gospel quartet, Proclamation.

Most of all, Don loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and we are thankful to know that he is now in heaven singing in the heavenly choir.

Don had many hobbies throughout his life. Running, biking, walking, and golfing with his friends were a few of them. He was passionate about working in his yard, planting flowers, and spending time on his farm, “The Piddlin’ Place.”

Don is survived by his wife, Martha Tip, his two children, Elizabeth Weaver Livingston (Ricky) of Franklin, TN and Amanda Weaver Long (Chad) of Tupelo, MS. His six grandchildren are Thomas, Pharris, and Lydia Livingston and Sarah Elizabeth, Stuart, and Catherine Long. Don is preceded in death by his parents, Mildred and Quinten Weaver and his sister, Ira Elaine Lee.
