Cynthia Ann Stonestreet Lassiter, 77, passed away peacefully at home on April 14, 2026, surrounded by family and friends. True to her character, she gracefully and bravely fought a battle with cancer.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, April 17, 2026, and 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Jordan Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Parkway Cemetery. Pastor Danny Rosamond will officiate the funeral. Chris Triplett and Dr. Timothy Alford will deliver the eulogy. Jordan Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Cynthia, lovingly known as CeeCee, was born August 9, 1948, to Shelley and Johnnie Mae Rowell Stonestreet. Growing up in the Williamsville community, her parents instilled the importance of family and friends, which she carried with her until the very end. Cynthia was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend, and companion. She was also a graduate of Kosciusko High School, Class of 1966, and a member of Williamsville Independent Methodist Church.

Cynthia was an exceptional nurse, retiring after more than forty years of service. Throughout her career, she accomplished many achievements, ultimately reaching the position of director of nursing. Her career afforded her many lifelong friendships. Alongside her family, many of her Montfort Jones Memorial Hospital friends offered love and support while providing excellent care for her throughout her illness.

She is survived by her grandsons, Dylan (Maddy) Lassiter, Caleb (Mary Katherine) Lassiter, both of Kosciusko, and Cameron Schexnayder of Lake Arthur, Louisiana, and great-granddaughters, Allie Brooke Lassiter and Emma LaRue Lassiter, of Kosciusko. She is also survived by cousins, loving canine companion Precious, and her Montfort Jones family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by sons, John Micheal Lassiter and Mark Anderson Lassiter, extended family, Montfort Jones family, and Class of 1966 members.

Pallbearers are J.J. Gardner, Ray Jackson, Michael Roy Johnson, Billy McCool, Kevin Pullen, Bob Stonestreet, Bucky Stonestreet, and Sammy Westbrook.
