Charlotte Carr Floyd

Mrs. Charlotte Carr Floyd, age 95, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2023. She was born October 26, 1927 in McCool, Mississippi to Henry and Pauline Carr.

Mrs. Floyd was a resident of Freeport, Florida. She was Baptist by faith. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for many years before retiring. She also owned and operated Black Knight & Arabian Horse Farm.

Mrs. Floyd was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Suzanne Scott; brothers; Rance Carr and Charles Carr; husband Joe Floyd; daughters; Jamie Smith and Gail Ceconi and granddaughter, Jacqueline Merritt.

Mrs. Floyd is survived by her daughter; Melody Merritt of Freeport, Florida; grandchildren, Bobbie Bishop, Carrie Ceconi, Jill Fleet, Heather Smith, and Carla Ceconi; great grandchildren, Violet, Haley, Isabelle, Alaina, Carson, Presley, Vanessa, Nina, Brooklyn and Olivia.

Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at Liberty Hill Cemetery; 3398 Attala Road 2120, McCool, Mississippi 39108.
