Burlon Lester Crocker, Sr.

Burlon Lester Crocker, Sr., 85, of Ridgeland, Mississippi formerly of Doty Springs Community, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at Baptist Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Doty Springs Church. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Doty Springs Baptist Church with burial at Doty Springs Cemetery. Rev. Daniel Fortenberry and Rev. Tony Fortenberry will officiate the services.

Burlon was born on January 10, 1941, to his parents, Robert Lester Crocker and Grace Smith Crocker in Cleveland, Mississippi. He proudly served in United States of America Army. Burlon retired from Mississippi Valley Gas/ Atmos in their marketing department and later became a Consultant with MS Homebuilders Association.

Burlon is survived by his son, Burlon (Ashley) Crocker, Jr. of Lexington, Tennessee; daughter, Felicia Crocker (Jack) Suddoth of Leland, Mississippi; grandchildren, Sam Crocker and Max Crocker of Lexington, Tennessee, Christine (Maddox) Hargett of Starkville, Mississippi, John Suddoth of Leland, Mississippi; great-grandchildren, Daisy Crocker, Ophelia Crocker, Anora Crocker, Arthur Crocker, and Elliott Hargett; and sisters, Betty Crocker Abdo of Fort Worth, Texas and Glenda Crocker (George) Thomas of Meridian, Mississippi.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lester Crocker and Grace Smith Crocker, and his sister, Charlotte Crocker Brown.
