Billy Gene Summerlin

Billy Gene Summerlin, 61, died Saturday, January 2, 2016 at the Stone County Hospital. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Monday, January 4, 2016 at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Funeral services are 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 5 in the Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Parkway Cemetery. Rev. Joel Brooks will officiate. He was a member of the Zion Assembly Church of God. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Harris Summerlin; step-son, Roy Dale Meek of FL; grandchildren, Samantha Makamson, Jacob Makamson, Chantel Makamson, Josie Meek and Abby Meek; sister, Hope Dewlin of FL; and brothers, Glenn Summerlin and Jerry Summerlin, both of TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene Howard Summerlin and Patsy Franks.
