Billy Devine

Billy J. Devine, 71, of Jackson, MS formerly of Kosciusko, MS passed away July 6, 2022, at his residence. Visitation is 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., Friday, July 8, 2022, and 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Jordan Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in Smallwood Cemetery located in Winston County, MS. Rev. Shannon Pennington will officiate the service. Billy was a security guard in the Jackson area. He was of the Baptist Faith. Billy is survived by nephews, James Earl Devine of Raymond, MS and Jeffrey Scott Tagert of Richland, MS; nieces, Kathryn Smith of Kosciusko, MS and Terry Diane Devine of Raymond, MS; several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bilbo Devine and Ludine Fortenberry Devine; brother, Terry Eugene Devine; and sister, Hazel Janette Tagert.
