Ada Belle Brown, 89, of McAdams, Mississippi, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2024, at her residence. A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Jordan Funeral Home. Jordan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Belle was born on August 29, 1935, to George Speaks and Lizzie Houston Speaks in Yazoo County, Mississippi. She retired from Montfort Jones Memorial Hospital as a surgical tech.
Belle is survived by her daughter, Sissy (Ray) Chandler of Sallis, Mississippi; grandchildren, Dawn Kerr, Greg (Cori) Chandler, and Kasey (Ashley) Chandler; great-grandchildren, Dylan Kerr, Ashlyn Utroska, Olivia McDaniel, Haisten Chandler, Paisleigh Chandler, Kinsley Chandler, Kasen Chandler, Lawson Chandler, and Kassie Chandler; great-great-grandchildren, Landry and Chandler McDaniel, and Raynee Utroska.
Belle was preceded in death by her parents, George Speaks, and Lizzie Houston Speaks; husband, Thomas Brown; and her son, Danny Killebrew.
