Angela Braswell Wheeless

Angela Braswell Wheeless, 61, of McCool, Mississippi, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at her residence with her family. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at Jordan Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Harmony Cemetery. Rev. Brent Busby will officiate.

Angela was born on October 22, 1964, to Edgar Gerald Braswell and Betty Brown Braswell in Mississippi. She attended Ethel High Schools. Angie worked for 24 years at Greenlee Schools as an assistant teacher and school bus driver.

Angie is survived by her husband, Bucky Wheeless; sons, Johnathan Dean and Eric Wheeless (Ashley); daughters, Savannah Johnson (Roger) and Chasaty Costilow (Trent); grandchildren, Macenzie Moody, Audey Johnson, Deana Dean, Laci Clark, Lucas Johnson, Lila Dean, Brody Wheeless, Nic Wheeless, Edgar Dean, Wyatt Costilow, and Remi Costilow; and brother, Gary Braswell.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Betty Braswell; and sister, Lori Braswell.

Serving as pallbearers are Ted Dempsey, Justin Burns, Mickey Landrum, Bradley Ray Sanders, Roger Johnston, and Sam Shields.
