Andrew Charles McCool passed away on July 2, 2026, at the age of 28.

Andrew was born on July 14, 1997, in Mississippi to Billy Charles McCool and Andrea Lea Blount McCool.

At just 28 years old, he left this world far too soon, leaving behind a family and countless friends who will forever miss the light he brought into their lives. While our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing he lived every day exactly the way he wanted-with a full heart, a fearless spirit, and a smile that could make even the hardest day a little brighter.

If you knew him, you knew his smile. It was the first thing people noticed and the thing they’ll remember forever. He had a way of making everyone feel like an old friend, and wherever he went, laughter was sure to follow. He could cut up with anybody, and somehow, even the quietest room became full of life when he walked in. He never backed down from an adventure. If it had a motor, he was all in. Whether he was riding his dirt bike, climbing into his Razor, or chasing the next thrill, that’s where he felt most alive. He wasn’t afraid to get a little dirty, work hard, or push the limits. When it came to working timber tracts next to his daddy, there wasn’t anywhere else, he’d rather be. It wasn’t just work to him-it was something he genuinely loved, and he gave it everything he had.

He took pride in the things he loved. His truck was always the cleanest and shiniest around, and if you saw it coming down the road, you knew exactly who was behind the wheel. He loved wearing his polos, smelling good, and looking his best, but none of that ever outshined the kind of man he was inside.

He also had a fascination with collecting unique little treasures-small objects that caught his eye and made him smile. Just like those collections, he found beauty in things that others might overlook.

Purple and lime green were his favorite colors, bold and bright, just like his personality. He never did anything halfway. He loved big, laughed loud, worked hard, and lived life with a kind of joy that was contagious.

The truth is that there will never be another one like him. Family gatherings won’t sound the same without his laughter. The woods won’t feel the same without him. The trails, the timber, the engines, and even the shine on a freshly washed truck will always remind us of the man who lived life wide open.

Though we weren’t ready to say goodbye, we are forever grateful for the 28 years we were blessed to call him ours. His love, his laughter, his adventurous heart, and his unforgettable smile will live on in each of us.

Until we meet again, we’ll hold you close in our hearts, tell your stories often, laugh at the memories you gave us, and look for you in every sunset over the timber, every roar of an engine, and every smile that reminds us of yours.

You were deeply loved, and you ALWAYS will be.

Forever our son. Forever our brother.

Forever our friend. Forever our Heart.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Charlie McCool and Walterine McCool and maternal grandparents, Jimmy and Louise Blount.
