Aline Lindsey Dees Russell, 81, of Kosciusko, Mississippi, passed away Monday, May 5, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her family. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., Thursday, May 8, 2025, at Jordan Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, May 8, 2025, at Parkway Cemetery. Rev. Glenn Ellington will officiate the service.
Aline was born on December 13, 1943, in Attala County, Mississippi to Joe Lindsey and Willie Miller Lindsey. She had worked at Superior Coach, Lawrin Lamp, and Walmart. Aline was a member of New Salem Baptist Church, Eastern Star, and a former Shriner member.
Aline is survived by her husband, Grady Richard Russell; son, Jamie Dees of Kosciusko, Mississippi and stepson, Danny Russell of Kosciusko, Mississippi; daughters, Arlene (David) Lee, Melissa Dees (Scott Ellington), Paula Belk of Kosciusko, Mississippi and stepdaughter, Lisa Russell Threet (Ken) of Manchester, Tennessee; 28 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Lindsey and Willie Lindsey; son, Paul Dees; stepsons, Dwayne Russell and Darren Russell.
Serving as pallbearers are Robert Dees, Chris Errington, Jaden Wilkerson, Colbie Corr, Shane Corr, and Joseph Dees. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Ken Threet, Johnny Moss, Danny Russell, Aaron Corr, DJ Glasscox, and David Lee.
