Lucket Lamar "Luckey" Henderson, 91, died Monday, April 6, 2015 in the State Veterans Home in Kosciusko. Visitation is Thursday,, April 9 from 5-8 p.m. and Friday from 10-11 a.m. at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Funeral services are Friday at 11 a.m. in the Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Parkway Cemetery. Jordan Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Rev. James Burrell will officiate. He joined the United States Marine Corp straight out of high school. He did his basic service in Paris Island, CA. He was involved with and heavily wounded in the Battle of Iwo Jima. He was a member of County Line Baptist Church. He was affiliated with Dunn Buick Company, Texas Eastern, Service Supply Company, and the Alyeska Pipeline Service Company. Survivors include children, Randy Henderson of Frisco, TX, Randall Henderson of Kosciusko, Mary Resa Davis of Granby, MA, Ricky Dunn Henderson and wife, Connie of Kosciusko, and Ronny David Henderson of Kosciusko; grandchildren, Audrey Claire Henderson, Sarah Caroline Henderson, Jedidah Henderson, Mary Patton Henderson, McKenzie Davis, and Shelby Henderson; nieces, Janice Henderson Miller and Tammy Henderson Thrasher. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jefferson Neal "Dock" and Lela Browne Wallace Henderson; brother, David Henderson; and sister, Earline Atkinson. Pallbearers are Jimmy Dunn, Ronny Henderson, Randy Henderson, Ricky Henderson, Randall Henderson, and Donald Williams.
