Annie Ruth Davis

Mrs. Annie Ruth Davis, 70, of French Camp, died Friday, January 17, 2014 at home. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 20 at Jordan Funeral Home. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21 at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow in Oak Ridge Church of Christ Cemetery. Rev. Dan Beardain will officiate. Mrs. Davis was born Sept. 22, 1943 to Roy and Mildred Burden. She was a member of Oak Ridge Church of Christ, an avid reader, loved needlework crafts and horses. She is survived by her husband, Travis M. Davis, of French Camp; son, Mark Davis, of Alexandria, LA; daughter, Miranda Johnston, of Pearl; step-daughter, Kathy Davis of Florence; grandchildren, Brianne Johnston and Brandon Davis; mother, Mildred Melcher Burden; and sisters, Margie Moore of French Camp, and Barbara Ryan, of Kosciusko. She was preceded in death by her father; and a brother, Roy Burden, Jr.
